Horrible show. Don't ever watch it. It's unfortunate how women or men get famous off of reality dating shows and then start their own. For example, New York got famous off of the Flavor of Love show, then that guy Chance got famous off of the New York dating show. It's ridiculous. No one is going to find "love" on a dating show, they just say it because it adds some drama to the show. Lets put an end to these stupid dating shows and put the money into something different.

Son of Rambow

I rented Son of Rambow the other day and I'm glad that I did. It's an English film that premiered at Sundance about 2 little boys who find brotherhood while filming a movie about the son of Rambo. 1 boy, Lee Carter (i think) is a troubled child because he has no parental guidance and just lives with his brother, Lawerence, aka Ed Westwick, Chuck Bass of Gossip Girl. The 2nd little boy, Will, is in a religion called "The Brethern" I think, but pretty much the same as a cult haha. Will is not allowed to have friends outside of his religion, but he befriends Lee Carter after getting in some trouble together at school. Lee Carter makes Will make a movie with him for a film contest. Son of Rambow is a story about a growing friendship between 2 boys, a relationship between brothers, and the life of a boy with restrictions and how everything works out.

My Heroes

Well these are my heroes growing up pretty much. They are the people who influenced me to be who I am today, just well known people. I could make a list of friends and family but they already know I love them haha yeahhh sooo check it outtt...


Michael Jordan is a pretty random hero, but when I was little I had a Michael Jordan jersey and I worshiped him. I wore that jersey like I had no other clothes to wear!
















I love Janis Joplin because not only was she a female musician, but I feel like she influenced many other women to pursue their dreams in music because our world is very male dominated, especially during the time that Janis was around.













The Beatles influenced the world. I respect that. They were the ones who pretty much introduced music to rock n roll. They were in touch with so many styles of music and shared them with the world. I don't think any person or musician could ever dislike The Beatles.







I always knew that Gwen Stefani was awesome in No Doubt, but I didn't know for sure until I saw her a few weeks ago at her concert. I have a huge respect for female musicians who are in a band with all guys. Looking back on some of No Doubt's old music videos and Gwen's old style, she's pretty much the same. She still a punk at heart and she may be older but she still performs an awesome show. She shows women that they can be themselves no matter what. I thought it was cool that Gwen went solo and also took some time off to have a family. People need to settle down sometime!







Lastly, Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore. I get so happy everytime I go to a Paramore show because they have never put on a bad show. Hayley always brings everything she has to offer to her performance. Hayley is a little bit younger than me and she already has a huge fan base and has already been on numerous nationwide tours. Hayley reminds me of a young Gwen Stefani, she's herself on stage and off, she doesn't change for anybody else.

Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and the whole United States...

If everyone didn't already know yet I drove across country to go back home to Connecticut. My mom flew out to drive back with me...and Harley! All in all, I'd say it was a good experience. I'd ever want to do it again! I spent a lot of time at home watching movies then I went to Chelsea's wedding (few posts below) and then my best friend John Kutcher came to visit me! We did all sorts of fun stuff: went to Rockefeller Estate in New York, went to New York City with my friend Sarah, went to Newport Rhode Island with Sarah, and finally Sunapee New Hampshire to visit our good friend Kevin. And then we drove back to Utah together.


Graffitied wall in NYC, I've never seen it before and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, I want to see more walls like this :) I don't know how to undo the underline...sorry...
The Breakers mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. If I remember correctly it has a ballroom in the middle. I came here when I was probably 12 or 13 and all I remember is the ballroom and I most likely didn't want to be there...I'm sure we all went through the phase of hating family trips haha. Now that I'm older and more appreciative I'm definitely planning on revisiting a lot of sites that I saw when I was younger.




The fountain and lake in Central Park. I haven't been past the cement childrens playground on the south end? So we decided to walk further in, need to do it more often. On our way to the fountain we stopped to watch Ralph Lauren's Rugby brand photo shoot. I never realized how tall the women models were in real life....haha I always knew they were tall haha

No Doubt Summer Tour

The Sounds (missed them)
Paramore, pretty much my favorite band. They are always amazing live. I've never seen a bad show of theirs.
Andddddd...No Doubt! I think Gwen Stefani is my new hero. She looked and sounded awesome on stage! You could tell that she is getting old though. She was missing notes, more noticeable in her slower sounds rather than loud, party songs.
Overall, I loved the show. I was so excited to be there, I was singing, dancing, and hopping around in my own little world, I might as well gone by myself haha I probably would've enjoyed it the same. Once again, thank you Britton Billik my best friend! Always gets me into shows, I don't know how to repay him :)

AP Tour at Toad's

The day after I got home I found out that my best friend Britton Billik was home as well...we didn't even know that each other were in Connecticut. Thursday night he had his show at Toad's Place, pretty much on Yale campus and I went to meet up with him and some of the guys. We didn't really watch the show (I already saw it in Salt Lake) but we just walked around and talked and hung out upstairs. Britton's photographer friend came to do a photobooth of all the guys on the tour and Britton and I got some too!


I miss him! I can't wait to see him and my other best friend Callie in June :) It'll be the best part of my summer :)

My Best Friend's Wedding!

On Saturday, May 2, my best friend Chelsea got married in the Washington DC temple! Chelsea wanted my mom to be the photographer so my mom and I drove down from Connecticut together. And I was a bridesmaid! Katie, Leigh and Cory's sister were bridesmaids as well.
